What changes the price
- Hours of coverage. Packages usually cover a set block of hours, with an hourly rate after that. For weddings, see how long a photobooth should run.
- Prints or digital only. Instant prints add a printer, paper and someone to manage them, so digital-only packages cost less.
- Booth type. Open-air, enclosed, 360, mirror and specialty formats such as magnets or trading cards each carry different equipment. See open-air, enclosed, 360 and mirror booths compared.
- An attendant. Some booths are dropped off; others are staffed for the whole booking. Ask which you are paying for.
- Custom design. A strip template designed around your event may be included or charged as an add-on.
- Travel. Vendors commonly include a radius around their base and charge beyond it.
- Tax. In Ontario, ask whether a quote includes 13% HST.
